WE TAKE GAMES SERIOUSLY
They engage the imagination, deepen learning and teach the value of resilience through failure.
ABOUT US
We are a multidisciplinary team of students, alumni, professors and professionals. We develop video games, board games and escape rooms using the latest technology and gamification methodologies. We organize game nights, interactive debates and brainstorms to create a gaming culture at UFM.
WHAT WE CREATE
VIDEO GAMES
The Video Game Center combines the talents of students, teachers and professionals to create fun and engaging games that spread ideas of freedom and explore the educational power of play. As game developers, we start with an idea and take it through the processes of designing, programming and testing to produce meaningful interactive experiences.
BOARD GAMES
We explore the fundamentals of game design by creating board games. Students play and analyze various games to understand their mechanics, objectives and stories. Through the process of ideation, prototyping, testing and observation, they develop innovative and engaging board games.
ESCAPE ROOMS
Escape Rooms are adventure games where players discover clues and solve puzzles to achieve the game’s objective. They are entertaining, intellectually challenging and can only be completed through teamwork. We combine technology, unique physical environments and interactive mechanics to create these immersive gaming experiences.
